The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sanchez throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Sanchez is working for takedown but Barley is calmly controlling the position for now.
Barley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sanchez.
Barley tries to land a knee to the head but Sanchez blocks with his arms.
Barley tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sanchez smiles and moves away.
Barley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sanchez lands with a big left! Barley is wobbled badly! Sanchez comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Barley to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
