Lothbrock is trying to trip Carroll. He has hold of a leg but Carroll is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lothbrock persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Lothbrock gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Carroll bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lothbrock's guard.

Lothbrock takes a swing at Carroll's ribcage but misses.
Carroll shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Carroll was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carroll has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lothbrock is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Carroll yanks on the arm and Lothbrock is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Carroll.
