Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jacinto Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jo Mama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jacinto Quinn has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jacinto Quinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jo Mama! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn avoids the head kick by Mama.
Mama tries for a takedown but Quinn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Quinn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mama napping and manages to drive through into side control! Quinn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Mama looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Quinn looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Mama seems a little lost for a moment, as Quinn dominates the positioning. Quinn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mama on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quinn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Mama trying to remain calm as Quinn controls from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mama for as long as he can get away with. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mama sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quinn prevents Mama from improving his position. Mama is refusing to be controlled, as Quinn sits in half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Quinn slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Quinn clinches up against the cage. Mama just leaning against Quinn, taking a breather.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quinn wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mama throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Quinns head. Quinn tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mama smiles and moves away.
Quinn defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mama. Quinn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quinn wants it to stay on the feet. Jacinto Quinn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jo Mama. Mama shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Mama looks winded! Quinn working a defensive guard but Mama passes into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Quinn wants to get back to full guard. Mama looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mama tries to stand but can't do so whilst Quinn controls his leg. That was a close round but I would say that Jacinto Quinn will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Quinn has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mama finds it's way round the side to connect with Quinn's head. Mama has Quinn up against the cage in a clinch.

Mama misses with a takedown and Quinn counters with a nice body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mama gets a clinch. Quinn is trying to control Mama's posture but Mama avoids it. Mama lands a decent elbow from side control. Quinn wants to control but Mama postures up. Jo Mama has got the better of the ground game so far. Quinn tries to buck Mama off but Mama is having none of it. Mama passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Quinn! Mama jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Quinn manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quinn struggling a bit here. Quinn is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Quinn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mama wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Mama is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Quinn knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Mama in side control lands a decent elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jo Mama showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Mama shoots for a double leg takedown but Quinn sprawls well. He's pushed Mama's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Quinn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Quinn tries to clinch up. Quinn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mama's guard. Quinn trying to control the position from guard on top but Mama is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Quinn preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quinn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mama has his foot on Quinn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Quinn works his way back into a safe position though. Mama takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Mama has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mama is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Mama wants to pass to mount but Quinn is defending the position. Mama takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mama is trying to control. Quinn wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mama has managed to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mama breaks the clinch.
Jo Mama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick by Mama misses and Quinn counters with a two punch combo. Mama throws a chopping leg kick but Quinn manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Quinn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mama paws at him with a jab and circles away. Quinn clinches up against the cage. Quinn tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mama just stands there and leans against the cage. Mama tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Quinn avoids it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Quinn keeps control of Mama as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Quinn is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jo Mama. I think Mama has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
