0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rory St Pierre! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart swings widly with a right hand
and St Pierre counters with a two punch combo. Nice jab there from St Pierre. Stewart misses with a right hand and St Pierre counters with a lovely straight right hand! St Pierre scores with a decent looking hook. Stewart rushes St Pierre and presses him up against the cage. St Pierre is trying to pull guard but Stewart has him pressed against the cage. St Pierre tries to pull guard but Stewart forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Stewart jumps into guard, dragging St Pierre to the mat.
St Pierre trying to control but Stewart is working from the bottom. St Pierre throws a big right hand that misses. St Pierre slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Rory St Pierre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stewart gets in close and instigates a clinch. Stewart wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stewart stands up from guard. Let's bang! St Pierre moves away from the strike by Stewart.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! St Pierre stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. St Pierre gets caught napping as Stewart dives in and scores a takedown. St Pierre manages to retain guard. Stewart will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. St Pierre is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
St Pierre is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Stewart wants to get back to his feet. Stewart knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St Pierre on the ground. St Pierre wants to control but Stewart is keeping him busy. St Pierre stands up and we're back to a striking position. Stewart moves into the clinch. Stewart is trying to force a seperation but St Pierre has the dominant position. St Pierre keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stewart's efforts to push away. Stewart tries to break the clinch but St Pierre is controlling the position. St Pierre tries to clinch up but Stewart circles away and keeps his distance. Stewart seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Stewart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. St Pierre manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Stewart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A jab from St Pierre misses. Stewart lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but St Pierre circles away quickly and effectively. St Pierre rushes Stewart and presses him up against the cage. St Pierre throws a hook to the side of Stewart's head but Stewart sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stewart, as that shot connected.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alf Stewart will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Stewart lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Stewart shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. St Pierre manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
