The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George with a jab.
It looks like Iosue Nicu has been cut.
Nicu slips a straight right by George.
Nicu slips a jab and a cross from George.
Nicu now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
An inside leg kick lands from Nicu.
Nicu scores with a push kick.
George fails with the takedown.
Nicu connects with a high kick.
It looks like King George has been cut.
Nicu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent George stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A solid body kick from Nicu.
George is breathing heavily.
George will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nicu fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nicu fakes the leg kick and cracks George in the body.
Nicu lands a nice leg kick that just misses George's sensitive parts.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nicu throws a nice inside leg kick.
Nicu lands a big head kick that sends George tumbling to the mat! Nicu takes a step backwards and waves George back to his feet - he wants the finish!
George is rocked!
Nicu throws a powerful right kick. George tried to block low but the kick was high! George was taken right off of his feet! Nicu jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Iosue Nicu!
A relieved looking Iosue Nicu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
