Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jesse Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Billy Bob!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bob looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Jones throwing shots but Bob is blocking nicely.

Jones is trying to drag Bob to the mat but Bob just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jones has Bob pressed against the cage, preventing Bob from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bob tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Bob's guard.
Jesse Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bob for as long as he can get away with.

Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bob was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bob misses with a head kick.
Jones is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Bob takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Bob gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch.

Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bob tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jones throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bob blocks it with crossed arms.
