Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kedar Dere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Margarito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Margarito is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dere sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dere tries to close the distance and clinch up but Margarito swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice sprawl there from Dere as Margarito shoots in.
Dere misses with a low kick.
Dere throws a head kick but Margarito moves out of range.
Margarito wants to counter the offense by Dere and move into the clinch position.
Dere has managed to clinch.
Dere is trying to pull guard but Margarito has him pressed against the cage.
Dere using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Margarito has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Margarito jumps guard but Dere turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Kedar Dere has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Margarito.
Dere is trying to pull guard but Margarito turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Margarito throws a hook but Dere blocks it.
Margarito lands with a kick to the temple. Dere shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Kedar Dere has been cut.

Dere shoots in looking for a takedown. Margarito tries to sprawl out of it but Dere keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Margarito manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Margarito moves into the clinch successfully.

Margarito digs a right hand into Dere's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dere's gas tank.
Margarito is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
Dere is breathing heavily.
Margarito is struggling to control the position.
Margarito breaks from the clinch.
Dere fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Margarito shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dere defends it nicely.
Margarito darts in and clinches Dere up against the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Margarito pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Margarito changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dere tries to avoid it but Margarito manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dere to the ground. Dere escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Margarito breaks the clinch.
Margarito drives through and clinches with Dere against the cage.
Margarito tries to work over Dere's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dere fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Margarito drags the fight down to the ground.
Dere might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Margarito looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Margarito controls Dere momentarily but Dere frees himself.
Dere distracts Margarito with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Margarito trying to keep a closed guard but Dere is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diego Margarito dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kedar Dere's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Margarito throws a hook to the side of Dere's head but Dere sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Margarito avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Margarito has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dere looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Margarito!
Margarito wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Dere has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Margarito's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Margarito is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Dere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kedar Dere!
