The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris misses with a series of wild punches.

and Griffin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Craig Paris has been cut.

Paris lands a nice shot to the body.
Craig Paris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffin jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

and Griffin counters with a nice uppercut.
Paris shoots in looking for a takedown. Griffin tries to sprawl out of it but Paris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Griffin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Griffin is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Paris with a body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Paris. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Griffin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Griffin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Griffin lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Paris - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Griffin!

Larry Griffin decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
