Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Danger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Lasson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Harvey Danger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gunnar Lasson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lasson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Danger as he jumps to the side.
Danger bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Danger works over Lasson's head and body with a nice combination.
Lasson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lasson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Danger.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lasson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Danger counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lasson! Danger lets Lasson back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Lasson is rocked!
Lasson tries for a takedown but Danger circles away easily
and Danger counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Lasson out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Danger is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Harvey Danger!
