Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Biek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Vicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Biek comes to the cage accompanied by holiday. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vicious with a poor takedown
and Biek counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Biek fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Biek cracks the inside of Vicious's front leg.

Biek closes the distance and pushes Vicious back into the cage.
Vicious is working for takedown but Biek is calmly controlling the position for now.

Biek throws a knee to the head but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Biek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vicious on the ground.

Biek is pulling down on Vicious's head to control his posture.

Vicious postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Biek is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vicious, into his guard.

Biek drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Biek jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Biek decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Vicious, up you get!

Biek moves into the clinch successfully.

Biek escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Biek closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Biek lands a nice elbow.
Vicious takes an elbow to the forehead.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Biek jumps into guard, dragging Vicious to the mat.

Vicious is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Biek is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Biek has escaped and now he's on top!

Biek slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Vicious looks winded!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Biek throwing strikes from guard but Vicious blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Biek thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Vicious keeping full guard, as Biek tries to pass.
Biek wants to control from the top but Vicious keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Biek won't allow Vicious to sweep him here.

Vicious is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Biek is aware though and is defending well.
Biek wants to pass the guard but Vicious is keeping the position.
Biek wants to control from the top but Vicious keeps moving.

Vicious looking for a triangle here. Biek is fighting it but it looks tight! Vicious pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Biek is tapping out - this one is all over!
