Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benji Cheshire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Spishak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spishak comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sleeping with Sirens kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

14 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sammy Spishak! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cheshire takes the fight into the clinch. Cheshire gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Sammy Spishak has been cut. Spishak takes an elbow to the temple. Spishak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cheshire closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Spishak pushes Cheshire back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Spishak misses with a hook from the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Cheshire.
That has opened up Sammy Spishak's cut even more. Spishak lands with a short shot to the head. Cheshire lands a nice shot to the body. Spishak is looking to break free of the clinch but Cheshire has double underhooks. Spishak managing to block the knees to the body from Cheshire.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cheshire's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Spishak just misses with a elbow thrown towards Cheshire's brow.

Cheshire pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. We've been informed that Spishak has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. A nice glancing elbow lands by Spishak. Cheshire blocking some punches.
Spishak throws a head punch that misses. A head punch blocked on the inside by Spishak. Cheshire manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Spishak has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Spishak misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Spishak lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Spishak avoids the elbow strike from Cheshire, against the cage.

Cheshire looking for a takedown. Spishak lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cheshire gets underhooks to prevent Spishak's takedown attempt.
