Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samurai Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Assange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack comes to the cage accompanied by Jungle. The crowd seem to be enjoying Assange's choice of entrance music: Eddie Van Halen - Eruption. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack throws a quick inside leg kick.
Assange misses with a double jab
and Jack counters with an outside leg kick.
Assange is looking to clinch but Jack is avoiding it.
Jack cracks the inside of Assange's front leg.
Assange swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jack.
Jack throws a body punch but Assange moves out of range.
Jack tries to clinch but Assange is having none of it.
Jack chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A swing and a miss from Assange.
Jack displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Assange throws out the jab.
Jack is looking to counter punch.
Assange tries to clinch up but Jack circles away and keeps his distance.
Jack throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Assange tries to bum rush Jack with a series of wild strikes but Jack uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Assange throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jack connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Assange throws a jab but it's blocked by Jack.
Jack went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jack lands a nice leg kick that just misses Assange's sensitive parts.
Jack scores with a kick to the midsection.

Jack scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like James Assange has been cut.

Jack throws a leg kick but Assange sees it coming and moves out of range.
Jack works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Assange swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jack. That's going to slow Assange down.
Jack fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Assange.
Jack misses with a body shot
and Assange counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Still in the clinch, Jack scores with a nice short uppercut.
A short body shot lands from Jack as the two fighters clinch.
Assange lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Assange misses with a hook from the clinch.
Assange blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Jack with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Assange is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jack pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jack misses with some punches.
Jack tries to land knees in the clinch but Assange avoids the damage to the body.
Jack misses with the head strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Assange can't find room to land a body shot as Jack controls the action.
Assange pulls guard effortlessly.
Assange escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jack gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Assange has his foot on Jack's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jack works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jack's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Jack sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Assange's guard.
Jack is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jack wants to lay and pray for a moment but Assange keeps working.
Still in half guard, Jack seems content to control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jack prevents Assange from improving his position.
Jack tries to pass to full mount but Assange defends it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jack takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Assange tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jack manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Assange!
It looks like Samurai Jack has been cut.
Jack misses with a hook.
Nice defenses there by Jack.
Jack fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Assange has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jack looks to land a right hand but Assange moved out of range.
Jack shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jack. Assange does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jack lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Assange backs up against the cage.
Assange throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jack with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Assange throws a lazy right hand but Jack sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jack appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Assange pushes Jack up against the cage in a clinch.
Assange blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Assange lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jack lands a left hand.
Jack stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Jack misses with a punch to the body.
Jack using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Assange has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samurai Jack dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jack lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Assange throws a nice looking combination but Jack bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Jack turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jack is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Assange can do to turn this around?

Assange's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Assange moves forwards but Jack connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Jack tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Assange manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Assange has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Assange there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jack lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jack takes a swing at Assange's ribcage but misses.
Assange is trying to counter with his kicks.
Jack throws a right and a left that Assange avoids nicely.

Assange throws out a leg kick but Jack moves out of range and Assange only half commits.
Jack ducks under a wild hook from Assange.
Jack lands a jab to the head.
Jack has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A slow jab from Assange misses its intended target.
The fighters circle momentarily. Assange darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Samurai Jack is winning the standup battle so far.
Jack misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Assange misses with a series of wild punches.
Assange walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
James Assange is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jack tries to close the distance and clinch but Assange swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jack throws a head kick but Assange moves out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Assange. Jack shrugs it off though.
Jack throws a leg kick but Assange sees it coming and checks it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Assange takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Assange is still on wobbly legs! Can Jack finish him?
Jack fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Assange.
Jack throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Assange crashing down! Assange tries to stagger back to his feet but Jack just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Assange asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samurai Jack!
Our winner, Samurai Jack, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
