Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jasper Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Muse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Muse will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jasper Daniel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Muse!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muse tries to clinch up but Daniel circles away and keeps his distance.
Daniel takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Daniel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Daniel chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Muse can pounce on him.
Muse wants to clinch
and Daniel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Muse won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daniel cracks Muse with a big right hand but Muse just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Muse struggling a bit here.
Daniel taking a breather here.
Daniel misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Muse is trying to get back to half guard.
The referee asks Daniel politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Daniel prefers to stall for the moment though.
Daniel is chipping away with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Muse tries to escape but Daniel is in control.
Daniel looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Muse wants to control but Daniel postures up.
Daniel connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Muse some visible discomfort.
Muse stops Daniel from passing to mount.
Daniel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Muse keeps working.

Muse prevents Daniel from moving into mount.
Muse taking punishment in the form of punches.

Daniel working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Muse is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Muse is still in real trouble! Can Daniel finish him?
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Muse is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Daniel tries for a kimura but Muse is defending well.
Muse is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Daniel cracks Muse with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Daniel immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Muse is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Daniel!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jasper Daniel!
