Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tupa Dufu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tupa Dufu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Perry Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dufu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hughes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dufu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hughes looks to score with a jab to the body but Dufu is just out of range.
Dufu moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Perry Hughes has been cut.
Hughes loads up on a big right hand but Dufu slips the punch.
Hughes gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dufu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hughes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dufu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dufu stalks Hughes and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hughes's face. Hughes staggers backwards, shaken.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hughes finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Dufu's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Hughes falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tupa Dufu!
