Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Kline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Kickstart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Scott Kline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Raul Kickstart!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kickstart closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kickstart throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kline works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Kline throws a strike from the bottom but Kickstart passes into side control!
Kline is looking for a sweep.
Kickstart is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kline will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Kickstart looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Kline is avoiding damage well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kline tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Kickstart avoids the attempt from Kline to control.
Kline is trying to escape the mount.

Kickstart can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kline is looking to escape.

Kickstart trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Kickstart tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kickstart wants to control the pace but Kline is squirming around nicely.
Kickstart takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kline is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kickstart can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kline is looking to escape.

It looks like Kickstart might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Kickstart is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kline's half guard.
Kickstart is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Kickstart throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Kickstart decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kline to his feet.

A nice combination there by Kickstart.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kline.
Raul Kickstart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kickstart moves into the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kickstart.
A head punch on the inside from Kline fails to land.
Kline fails to pull guard.
Kline is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Stalling in the clinch from Kickstart.

Kickstart breaks the clinch.
A combination from Kickstart does no damage.

Kickstart drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kickstart is pushing down on Kline's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kline is fighting to maintain full guard but Kickstart has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kickstart decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Kickstart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kline tries to close the distance and clinch but Kickstart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kickstart feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kickstart gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Kickstart throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kline was covering up waiting for the punch and Kickstart finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Raul Kickstart has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kline striking off his back but it's not causing Kickstart any problems.

Kickstart stands up from Kline's guard - Kickstart perhaps looking for a knockout.

Kline fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kickstart, pushing him back against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kline tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Kline. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kickstart breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raul Kickstart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Kickstart moves into range and clinches up with Kline.
Kickstart lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kline.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kline.
Kickstart lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kline backwards.
Kickstart has Kline pushed against the cage.

Kickstart breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kline tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kickstart manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kickstart unleashes a big counter combination but Kline bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kickstart is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kline's half guard.


Kline is rocked!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kline keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Oh Kline is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kickstart content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Kickstart works his way into full mount!
Kickstart postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Kline badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Kickstart around the waist but Kickstart pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Kickstart is the winner by TKO! Kickstart jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raul Kickstart!
