Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Baby Ama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Cody Montgomery was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Baby Ama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Montgomery! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montgomery moves in looking to clinch but Ama pushes him off. Montgomery tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ama paws at him with a jab and circles away. Montgomery closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ama circles away. Montgomery fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ama, pushing him back against the cage. Ama wants to break free but Montgomery has control.
Montgomery pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Montgomery pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ama swings away with a leg kick that misses. Montgomery is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ama lands with a cross. Ama shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Ama misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ama tries a head kick but it misses.
Montgomery shoots in but no luck this time. Ama leaves Montgomery with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Baby Ama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cody Montgomery. Montgomery moves out of range as Ama throws a body kick.
Baby Ama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montgomery pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Montgomery throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Ama throws out a leg kick but Montgomery moves out of range and Ama only half commits. Ama tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ama avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Montgomery keeps the fight on the outside. Ama displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Montgomery. Ama throws a quick counter head kick but Montgomery was just out of range. Montgomery checks a leg kick nicely. Ama drives through with a takedown into guard. Ama controlling from the top position. Ama tries to free his leg and advance position but Montgomery is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ama wanted to stand there but Montgomery had control of the position. Montgomery working a defensive guard here.
Ama trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Montgomery manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Ama keeping moving, preventing Montgomery from controlling successfully. Ama is working an open guard so Montgomery takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montgomery shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ama pinned against the cage. Ama gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ama looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Ama scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ama is breathing heavily. Montgomery is pushing Ama's head away, looking to escape. Ama manages to hold on to the position though. Ama tries to stand but Montgomery is controlling his head. Montgomery is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ama off and has taken his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montgomery wants to control but Ama is keeping busy. You can see the frustration on Ama's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Montgomery is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Ama taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Montgomery.
