Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Norvell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masters comes to the cage accompanied by Simply the Best. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Ken Masters !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Brad Norvell!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norvell takes one to the side of the head.
Brad Norvell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Norvell misses with a takedown attempt
and Masters counters with a slapping leg kick.
Norvell scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Norvell throws a nice looking combination but Masters bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Masters appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
A good leg kick by Masters .
Norvell just misses with a punch to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Masters has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Masters blocks a jab.
Masters tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Norvell scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Norvell throws an off balance right hand
and Masters counters with a right hand to the body.
Masters throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Masters counters with a nice body kick.
Masters looks to land a left hand but Norvell moved out of range nicely.
Norvell is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Norvell misses with an uppercut
and Masters counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Norvell thinking.

Masters tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Norvell was well out of range. Poor timing from Masters .
And Norvell tries to counter it with a takedown but Masters pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Norvell throws out a loose jab but Masters uses good head movement to avoid it.
Norvell dives in for a single leg takedown but Masters sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Norvell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Masters .
Masters jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
No joy there for Norvell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Norvell swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Masters counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Masters is looking to wear down Norvell with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Masters throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Norvell steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Masters . That one must have hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A jab from Norvell misses.
A little feinted left hand from Masters on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Masters uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Norvell.
The crowd cheers as Masters lands an impressive looking overhand right. Norvell doesn't seem phased though.
Norvell cracks Masters with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Masters throws a wild body kick that Norvell sees coming a mile off.
Norvell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Masters is fending him off so far but Norvell persists. Nope, Masters circles away and we're back to standing.
Ken Masters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Norvell.
Masters ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Norvell moves away.
Masters scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Norvell blocks a head kick by Masters .
Masters gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Norvell slips under a jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Norvell lands with a hook. Masters tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Masters lands with a right hand.
Norvell misses with a straight right.
Masters feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Norvell's calf.
Ken Masters is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Norvell dives in for a single leg takedown but Masters sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Masters misses with a head kick.
Masters lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Masters throws a head kick but Norvell moves out of range.
Norvell misses with a shot to the body
and Masters counters with a nice low kick that buckles Norvell's knee momentarily.
Norvell misses with a body shot
and Masters counters with a nice kick to the body.
Norvell throws the left hand but Masters avoids the punch easily.
Masters with a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Masters tries a head kick but it misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A punch lands to the side of Masters 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Masters throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Norvell's head.
Masters throws a head kick but Norvell moves out of range.
Norvell looks for a takedown but Masters sprawls well.
Masters looks to land a body kick but Norvell moved away.
A jab from Masters does it's job there.
Norvell misses with a straight right.
Norvell connects with a body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Masters , right into the meat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Masters dominated that round.
That's time! Masters 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Norvell with the counter takedown but Masters avoids it easily.
Norvell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Masters is fending him off so far but Norvell persists. Nope, Masters circles away and we're back to standing.
Masters lands a high kick!
Norvell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Norvell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Masters counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


Norvell is rocked!
Masters and Norvell are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Masters throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Norvell into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Masters knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ken Masters !
An out of breath Ken Masters thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
