Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trollkiller throws a solid leg kick but Neidhart takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Trollkiller.
Trollkiller lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Trollkiller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Trollkiller scores with a head kick. Neidhart tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Trollkiller seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Neidhart misses with a double jab.
Trollkiller throws a front kick that sends Neidhart stumbling back into the cage.

Trollkiller stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Trollkiller wants it to stay on the feet.

Neidhart throws a nice looking combination but Trollkiller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

I was talking to Trollkiller's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Neidhart goes for a takedown attempt but Trollkiller pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Durlag Trollkiller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Neidhart.

Neidhart wants to control but Trollkiller is keeping him busy.

Neidhart tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Neidhart has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Neidhart lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Durlag Trollkiller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Trollkiller doesn't manage to clinch there - Neidhart circles away.
Neidhart's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Neidhart throws a head kick but Trollkiller moves out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Trollkiller darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Neidhart shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trollkiller but Trollkiller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
