Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between GaiI Kin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Moroz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melvin Moroz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, GaiI Kin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Melvin Moroz! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moroz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kin is fending him off so far but Moroz persists. Nope, Kin circles away and we're back to standing. Kin misses with an attempted mid kick.
Moroz blocks a head kick by Kin.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Moroz breaks the clinch.
Kin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kin trying to control from half guard but Moroz is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kin controlling the pace. Moroz tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Moroz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moroz is trying to stand.
Kin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Moroz sees it coming and defends easily. Kin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Moroz regains full guard. Nicely done. Kin trying to control the position from guard on top but Moroz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kin postures up in Moroz's guard and throws a big left but Moroz blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Moroz thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Kin trying to control but Moroz is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kin throws a head kick but Moroz moves out of range.
Moroz checks a leg kick. Kin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moroz pinned against the cage. Moroz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Moroz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kin fails in his attempt to clinch. Moroz has Kin up against the cage in a clinch.
Moroz prevents the takedown attempt.
Moroz stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kin throws a punch but it's blocked by Moroz. Kin working hard to break the clinch. Moroz fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Moroz jumps guard but Kin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. GaiI Kin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melvin Moroz. Moroz blocking some punches.
Moroz pressing his opponent against the cage. Moroz lands an uppercut. Moroz drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kin is stalling here.
Moroz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Moroz darts in looking for a takedown but Kin gets double underhooks and turns Moroz into the cage. Kin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Moroz defends well and Kin ends up having to push Moroz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Moroz misses with a double jab.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Moroz shoots in looking for a takedown but Kin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Moroz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Moroz. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
GaiI Kin dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kin closes the distance and clinches up with Moroz, looking for a takedown. Kin pushes Moroz against the cage but Moroz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Moroz moves out of range of the leg kick from Kin. Kin tries to close the distance and clinch but Moroz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Good work by Kin as he checks the leg kick. Moroz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Moroz taking some punishment here, with Kin in his half guard. Moroz has his hands clasped together around Kin's back. He's all about the action. Moroz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kin. Kin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moroz keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Moroz is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Moroz looking for submissions off his back. Moroz wants to control but Kin is keeping busy and won't allow it. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kin wants to pass the guard but Moroz is defending well. Moroz is looking to control Kin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moroz avoid being mounted?
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Moroz tries to keep at a distance but Kin has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Moroz creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Moroz breaks from the clinch.
Moroz tries to land a leg kick but Kin saw it coming and moves away.
Kin fails with a takedown attempt. Kin shoots in looking for a takedown but Moroz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for GaiI Kin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Horrible takedown attempt by Kin or perhaps it was just good defense by Moroz, which made it look bad. Moroz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moroz swats away the attempt to clinch by Kin. Some bone on bone action there as Kin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Moroz goes for a double leg but Kin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kin continues to drive forward. Moroz fails with a takedown attempt. Melvin Moroz seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kin gets caught flat footed, as Moroz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Moroz is breathing heavily. Kin is adopting a defensive guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moroz wants to control from the top but Kin keeps moving. Kin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moroz on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Moroz stands and throws Kin's legs to the side, diving into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Melvin Moroz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Moroz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Moroz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kin circles away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moroz is defended easily by Kin. Moroz fails to land the takedown. GaiI Kin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melvin Moroz. Kin scores with a takedown into Moroz's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moroz wants to sweep but no luck. Kin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moroz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Moroz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Moroz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moroz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Moroz trying to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A little jabbing left from Moroz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Moroz misses with a takedown attempt and Kin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kin seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Moroz has recovered full guard. Kin throws a big right hand that misses. Moroz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kin chips away with some ground and pound. Kin controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moroz working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kin. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Moroz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kin controls the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Moroz clinches with his opponent.
Moroz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Moroz shoots in but Kin avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Kin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Kin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moroz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kin slows the pace down in half guard. Moroz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kin not doing much here.
