Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Warrior Mode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Never More (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warrior Mode is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Warrior Mode!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Never More!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
More avoids a kick to the body.
Mode tries to clinch but More moves out of range.

Mode closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mode lands in his opponent's guard.
Mode trying to control the position from guard on top but More is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
More wants to stand up but Mode is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
More is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
More wants to get back to his feet but Mode passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
More tries to kick Mode off but Mode keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Mode stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows More to get to his feet.

Mode drives through with a takedown into More's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Mode won't allow More to get back to his feet.
Mode is working More over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Mode forces his way into half guard.
More avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mode.

More manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Mode keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
More is trying to force a seperation but Mode has the dominant position.

Mode pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mode doesn't succeed with the takedown
and More counters with a straight right hand.
Mode tries to clinch up
and More connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Never More is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mode misses with a telegraphed body shot
and More counters with a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

More clinches up against the cage.
Mode trying to control the position but instead, More has worked for underhooks and has pushed Mode into the cage.
Mode keeps control of More as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
More has had enough of the clinch but Mode keeps him there for the moment.
Mode will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning More up against the cage.
Mode tries to pull guard but More won't allow it.
More wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
More is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Warrior Mode. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mode has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. More is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Mode tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. More smiles and moves away.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by More!


It looks like Warrior Mode has been cut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

More has managed to clinch.

Mode pulls guard effortlessly.

More decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mode, up you get!
Warrior Mode seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mode is breathing heavily.

Mode gets tackled into the cage by More. More maintains the clinch.
More wants to break free but Mode has control.

Mode breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mode fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

More moves into the clinch.
More wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Never More dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Warrior Mode's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Mode tries for a takedown but More circles away easily
and More counters with a stiff right hand.
Mode throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
More unleashes a big counter combination but Mode bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Mode fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Mode looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for More!

Mode is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but More is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
More wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Warrior Mode overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mode decides to stand back up.
More lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nice sprawl there from More as Mode shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Warrior Mode. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mode has his takedown stuffed
enabling More to counter with a crisp jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

More rushes Mode and presses him up against the cage.
Mode is trying to pull guard but More turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
More scores with a shot to the side of Mode's head.
More tries to break the clinch but Mode is controlling the position.

Mode breaks from the clinch.
Mode darts in trying to clinch
and More connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

More forces Mode back against the cage and clinches.
More scores with a nice hook to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mode fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mode jumps guard but More stands there with Mode around his waist. Mode gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mode has More pressed against the cage, preventing More from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Mode pulls guard effortlessly.

More decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

More bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Mode! He dives into his guard looking to finish!


Mode is rocked!

More stands up and waves to Mode to follow him.
Oh Mode is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
More throws a good cross that connects.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mode on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A left and a right from More both land. Nice combination.
More moves in looking to clinch but Mode pushes him off.
Mode keeps the fight on the outside.
Mode falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mode takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

More fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mode, pushing him back against the cage.
Mode seems to have got his legs back now.
More has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Mode goes for a takedown attempt but More pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Never More showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Warrior Mode's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



More moves into range and clinches up with Mode.
Mode leaning against his opponent.

Mode gets a trip takedown into half guard.

More pushes Mode off and gets back to his feet.
Mode tries for a takedown but More sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mode on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
More doesn't manage to clinch there - Mode circles away.
Mode has his takedown stuffed
and More counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This has been an exciting period of action!
More walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mode drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! More swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mode's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Never More!
Never More bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
