Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Warren Parker!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Smith is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Parker's half guard.
Parker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though.

Parker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Smith pulls his head out easily.

Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Smith bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Parker's head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We've been informed that Parker has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Warren Parker has got the better of the ground game so far.

Smith has his foot on Parker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Parker works his way back into a safe position though.

Parker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Smith has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Parker has managed to get both his arms back between Smith's legs - danger averted.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Warren Parker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Warren Parker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Parker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
