Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Sydercezk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sydercezk wants to clinch up but Star keeps it at a distance.
Sydercezk plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Sydercezk gets a double leg takedown into Star's guard.
Star is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sydercezk is aware though and is defending well.
Star is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sydercezk defends well.
Sydercezk postures up and lands a big shot to Star's brow.
Star has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sydercezk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Star keeping moving, preventing Sydercezk from controlling successfully.
Sydercezk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Star swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sydercezk will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Star working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sydercezk doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sydercezk manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Star is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sydercezk distracts Star with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Star working for a triangle but Sydercezk defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Star is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sydercezk defends well.

Sydercezk connects with a couple of short punches.
Star manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sydercezk manages to get himself to full guard.
Sydercezk striking off his back but it's not causing Star any problems.
Star is looking to advance position but Sydercezk has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Star slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sydercezk trying to control the position from guard on top but Star is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Star working for a triangle but Sydercezk defends it easily.

Sydercezk trying to control but Star is working from the bottom.
Star throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Star bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sydercezk's guard.
Star forces his way into half guard.
Sydercezk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Star on the ground.
Star wants to work for an arm triangle but Sydercezk is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Star is trying to work for a kimura but Sydercezk is defending well.
Sydercezk tries to roll over but Star keeps him under control.
Star is working for a kimura but Sydercezk is defending it quite comfortably.
Star is looking for a kimura here.
Star is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sydercezk doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Star.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Star dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sydercezk shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Star napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Star tries to buck Sydercezk off but Sydercezk is having none of it.
Sydercezk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Star keeps working.
Sydercezk is really struggling to control Star but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Star is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Star moves into full guard.

Sydercezk has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Star to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Sydercezk is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Star pulls down on the head and he's put Sydercezk to sleep! This one is all over!
