Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zorba The Greek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flavio Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zorba The Greek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
39 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flavio Sandoval! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sandoval gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The Greek throws a series of punches but Sandoval avoids them all with ease. Horrible takedown attempt by Sandoval or perhaps it was just good defense by The Greek, which made it look bad. A slow jab from The Greek misses its intended target. Zorba The Greek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sandoval is looking to clinch but The Greek is avoiding it.
The Greek has been working on his boxing with his coaches at H-13 Alpha Elite Training in the buildup to the fight. The Greek throws a right and a left that both miss. The Greek tries to keep at a distance but Sandoval has taken the fight into the clinch. Sandoval digs a right hand into The Greek's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on The Greek's gas tank. Sandoval has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics The Greek uses from the top position. The Greek trying to control but Sandoval is working from the bottom. The Greek looking to pass the guard. The Greek trying to control the position from guard on top but Sandoval is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sandoval looking for a sweep. Not yet Sandoval, not yet. The Greek wants to control from the top but Sandoval keeps moving. Sandoval is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandoval looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Sandoval is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, The Greek has managed to free his arm - good work. The Greek has hold of Sandoval's hands but Sandoval slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Sandoval is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sandoval wants to work for an arm triangle but The Greek is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The Greek is looking to improve his position.
Sandoval thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed The Greek's head. The Greek tries to roll over but Sandoval keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Greek manages to get to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sandoval is looking to work some ground and pound but The Greek has wrist control. Sandoval slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The Greek throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sandoval works over The Greek with some ground and pound from guard. The Greek looking for a guillotine here but Sandoval defends easily.
Sandoval stopping the sweep attempt from The Greek. Sandoval works a leg free and moves into half guard. The Greek looking for submissions off his back. The Greek wants to control but Sandoval is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandoval is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The Greek is trying to stand up here but Sandoval is controlling him well. The Greek is pressing down on Sandoval's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The Greek keeping moving, preventing Sandoval from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Greek is looking for a triangle but Sandoval pushes his legs off easily.
Sandoval postures up and lands a big shot to The Greek's brow. Sandoval got a little sloppy there for a moment and The Greek has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sandoval has managed to get both his arms back between The Greek's legs - danger averted. The Greek keeping full guard, as Sandoval tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Greek is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sandoval wants to control from the top but The Greek keeps moving. The Greek has his feet on Sandoval's thighs here. He's pushed Sandoval off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Sandoval screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
