Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kabal Labak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Gennero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gennero has chosen Wally's Pep Talk as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ed Gennero was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Labak.
Gennero throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Labak counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Labak looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Labak lands a nice looking body shot.
Labak changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Labak dips to his left and cracks Gennero with an uppercut!
Gennero misses with a hook.
Labak was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Gennero lands with a hook. Labak tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Gennero stuns Labak with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Labak shoots in looking for a takedown but Gennero manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Labak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Gennero uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Labak.

Gennero is looking to take a break and control but Labak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gennero wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Labak uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Gennero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Labak swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Labak has control of Gennero 's left arm, preventing Gennero from doing any damage.
Labak controls Gennero momentarily but Gennero frees himself.

Labak has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gennero can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Labak is working an open guard so Gennero takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Labak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That was a close round but I would say that Kabal Labak will probably get the nod.

Horrible takedown attempt by Labak or perhaps it was just good defense by Gennero , which made it look bad.

Oooooh!!! Gennero has knocked Labak down with a huge combo! Gennero steps away and waves a wobbly Labak back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Kabal Labak's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Oh Labak is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gennero lands a jab to Labak's midsection.
Labak misses the shot to the body.
Labak walks straight into a right hand from Gennero - that's dropped him! Gennero jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Labak from any more punishment! Labak complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ed Gennero seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
