The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos clinches up with Aoki and pushes him back against the cage.
Aoki is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Aoki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dos Santos pulls his leg out and moves away.
Aoki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dos Santos lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Dos Santos shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Aoki swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Dos Santos tries to clinch but Aoki is having none of it.
Aoki appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Dos Santos throws a hook to the side of Aoki's head but Aoki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dos Santos throws out a loose jab but Aoki uses good head movement to avoid it.

Aoki connects with a right hand. Dos Santos shakes it off.
Aoki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dos Santos stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Dos Santos dives in and grabs Aoki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aoki pushes down on Dos Santos's head and hops out.
Aoki was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dos Santos loads up on a big right hand but Aoki slips the punch.
Dos Santos moves in looking to clinch but Aoki pushes him off.
As Dos Santos looks to move away, Aoki throws a big counter combo bu Dos Santos just gets out of the way.

and Aoki counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dos Santos cracks Aoki with an open hand slap.
Aoki circles away from the clinch attempt
and Aoki counters with a takedown into side control.

Dos Santos managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Aoki.
Aoki tries to move to mount but Dos Santos blocks the move with his legs.
Aoki scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Dos Santos to see if he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aoki is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dos Santos has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Aoki is working for a kimura but Dos Santos is defending it quite comfortably.
Aoki is pressing down on Dos Santos's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dos Santos is holding on for now.

Aoki is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dos Santos is aware though and is defending well.

Aoki sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

William Dos Santos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

It looked like Aoki was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Dos Santos cracks Aoki with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A decent looking cross lands there for Dos Santos.
Aoki is looking to wear down Dos Santos with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Dos Santos lands a left and a right that send Aoki crashing to the mat, dazed. Dos Santos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Aoki is rocked!
It looks like Tatsuya Aoki has been cut.
Dos Santos moves in close and cracks Aoki with a massive right hand! Aoki, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Dos Santos!
