Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kojiro Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Carolean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carolean has chosen Visa Från Utanmyra as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle keeps Carolean at a distance using the push kick.
That kick from Kyle tenderised Carolean's leg. Carolean is trying to keep his angry face on.

Kyle connects with a crisp jab.
Carolean's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kyle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Carolean scrambles back to his feet.
Carolean tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kyle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It looked like Kyle wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kojiro Kyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheers as Kyle lands an impressive looking overhand right. Carolean doesn't seem phased though.
Kyle fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Carolean.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Carolean with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kyle to score with a decent uppercut.

Carolean looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
It looked like Kyle was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Carolean.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Carolean has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Kyle lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kyle digs a good body shot into Carolean's ribs.
Kyle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Carolean's hands.

Carolean drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kyle pulls his leg out and moves away.

Carolean tries to move into range but Kyle moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Kyle.

Carolean looks to land a right hand but Kyle moved out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carolean steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kyle. That one must have hurt.
Kyle throws a leg kick which misses Carolean's front leg but catches the back leg as Carolean tries to avoid it.

Carolean's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kyle.
Carolean tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kyle paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Good leg kick by Kyle there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Carolean has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kyle.
Carolean takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Donk. Kyle catches Carolean right on the button with a cross.
Kyle scores with a sloppy right hand. Carolean should have avoided that one.
Kyle thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Carolean if he has to take too many more of those.

Carolean has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Kyle.

Carolean takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Kyle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carolean looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kyle takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kyle connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kyle feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Carolean's calf.

Carolean drops his hands momentarily and Kyle takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Kyle's corner calls for a 1-2. Kyle obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kyle's jab looks to have found its range, popping Carolean under the eye.
Kyle circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Carolean to the canvas! Carolean doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kyle keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

During a confident post fight interview, Kojiro Kyle thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
