Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ilafat Urskilz!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamison throws an off balance right hand

and Urskilz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Urskilz lands a body shot in the clinch.
Jamison lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Urskilz backwards.
Urskilz gets through Jamison's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Urskilz tries a body shot but Jamison blocks it.
Jamison misses with a hook to the ribs.
Urskilz stalling in the clinch but Jamison improves position.
Urskilz blocks an uppercut.
Urskilz scores with a shoulder strike.
Urskilz's coach down at THC playhouse was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Urskilz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Jamison misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jamison tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Urskilz smiles and moves away.
Urskilz chopping away at his opponent's legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Urskilz misses with a wild body shot.

Urskilz attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Jamison looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Urskilz throws the left hand but Jamison avoids the punch easily.

Jamison avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Jamison feinted with a counter takedown.
Urskilz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jamison.
Urskilz swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Jamison uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Urskilz.
Jamison drops down looking for a counter takedown but Urskilz sprawls and moves away.
Jamison blocks a low kick nicely.
Urskilz throws a body punch but Jamison moves out of range.
Jamison throws a body punch but Urskilz moves out of range.
Jamison blocks a leg kick.
Urskilz throws a head kick but Jamison moves out of range.
Jamison jabs Urskilz to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Jamison closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Urskilz quickly recovers to half guard.
Urskilz trying to hold on to Jamison's head to control him but Jamison postures up.
Urskilz is controlling Jamison's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Jamison in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Urskilz tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jamison!
