Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alphonso Macias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landon Hunts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Landon Hunts has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alphonso Macias's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Landon Hunts!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macias shoots for a takedown but Hunts saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hunts clinches.
Hunts working Macias over with knees to the body.

Macias breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Macias gets caught napping as Hunts dives in and scores a takedown. Macias manages to retain guard.
Hunts loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hunts controlling from the top position.
Hunts wants to pass the guard but Macias is keeping the position.
Hunts is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macias pulls Hunts in close to his closed guard and prevents Hunts from doing any damage or advancing position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hunts is on top in guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Macias ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Macias tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hunts swivels and escapes.
Hunts wants to clinch up but Macias keeps it at a distance.
Macias throws a big counter combination but Hunts scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Hunts shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hunts was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Macias is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Macias has his hands clasped together around Hunts's back. He's all about the action.
Hunts is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hunts is trying to control. Macias wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hunts tries to stand but can't do so whilst Macias controls his leg.

Hunts shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Macias is trying to defend but Hunts finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Macias is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Hunts thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Macias's head.

Well Hunts has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
