The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by voitsek.

voitsek is looking to take a break and control but Rua is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

voitsek shoots in looking for a takedown. Rua tries to sprawl out of it but voitsek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rua manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rua postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. voitsek looks a forlorn figure.
Rua tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rua swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and voitsek is now in Rua's guard. A big mistake from Rua there, giving up the dominant position!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
