The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spigelman misses with a straight right.
Souza with the counter takedown but Spigelman avoids it easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Spigelman. That's going to slow Souza down.
Souza takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Gabriel Souza has been cut.
The crowd cheers as Spigelman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Souza doesn't seem phased though.

Spigelman cracks Souza with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Spigelman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Souza to stand back up!

Souza should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Souza swings away with a body shot that misses
and Spigelman counters with a slapping leg kick.
Souza doesn't manage to clinch there - Spigelman circles away.
Spigelman is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Spigelman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Souza shoots in for a takedown but Spigelman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Souza uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Spigelman.
Souza tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Spigelman lunges at Souza with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Souza's hand.

Spigelman drops Souza with a huge uppercut! Souza drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Spigelman is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
