Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chito Hua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and One Scoup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chito Hua could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to One Scoup's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chito Hua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, One Scoup!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scoup goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Scoup throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hua throws a series of punches but Scoup moves out of range.
Scoup throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hua counters with a slapping leg kick.
Scoup looks to land a combination but Hua avoids it well.
Hua avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hua tries to land a front kick but Scoup steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Scoup swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Scoup misses the jab.
Hua missing with a left hand there. Scoup was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hua lands a really nice looking cross but Scoup seems unphased.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hua is on top in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hua wants to control from the top but Scoup keeps moving.
Hua is pushing down on Scoup's leg trying to pass to half guard. Scoup is fighting to maintain full guard but Hua has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hua thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Scoup's head.
Hua throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hua not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Scoup pushes Hua off looking to stand but Hua dives back in and keeps control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Scoup swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Hua connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Scoup is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Hua holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Scoup is trying to drag Hua to the mat but Hua just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Hua gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Scoup regains guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Scoup clobbers Hua with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
One Scoup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

One Scoup is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hua tries to close the distance and clinch up but Scoup swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hua bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Scoup's guard.

Hua shoots in and bounces Scoup off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Scoup has his feet on Hua's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Hua misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Scoup throws the left hand but Hua avoids the punch easily.

Hua is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Hua gets control of Scoup's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hua will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hua cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hua wants to control the pace but Scoup is squirming around nicely.
Hua wants to finish this one by submission but Scoup is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hua.
Hua tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hua, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
