The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dority throws a right hand that Sobral ducks under and follows up with a left that Sobral also avoids with ease.
Sobral attempts a counter takedown but Dority avoids it well and moves away.
Sobral clobbers Dority with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dority takes a swing at Sobral's ribcage but misses.
Dority showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sobral.
Dority throws out a counter right but Sobral avoids it with no problem.
Sobral keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Dority. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dority.
Julio Sobral seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sobral misses with a hook.
Dority looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sobral misses with a jab, cross combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dority! But no joy.
Sobral connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Dan Dority has been cut.
Sobral takes a swing at Dority's ribcage but misses.
A left and a right from Sobral both land. Nice combination.
Dority is rocked!

Sobral lands a brutal uppercut that launches Dority off his feet! Dority tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
