Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and That Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Walk by Pantera. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Guy doesn't manage to clinch there - Maynard circles away.

Guy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Maynard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Guy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Maynard defends well.
Guy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Maynard manages to get himself to full guard.

Guy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Maynard is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Maynard has escaped and now he's on top!
Guy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Maynard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Guy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Guy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guy looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Maynard passes into half guard.
Maynard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Guy has one foot on Maynard's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Maynard dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Guy. That did some damage!

Maynard is trying to stand up here but Guy is controlling him well.

Guy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Maynard is just riding it out for now. Guy eventually gives up the hold.
Maynard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guy on the ground.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maynard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
