Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brooklin Rider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy The Crocodile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy The Crocodile will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brooklin Rider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy The Crocodile! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Crocodile throws a hook but Rider blocks it. Rider shoots in and drives through. The Crocodile sprawls well. The Crocodile doesn't manage to clinch there - Rider circles away.
Rider shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rider showed some decent athleticism there. The Crocodile gets back to full guard.
Rider tries to free his leg and advance position but The Crocodile is retaining full guard. The Crocodile wants to stand up but Rider is controlling him. Rider is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! The Crocodile is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! The Crocodile has escaped and now he's on top! Rider is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rider can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as The Crocodile controls the pace. Rider has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Crocodile can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The Crocodile controls the pace of the fight for a moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rider is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rider has gone for a leg lock! The Crocodile slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rider's guard. Rider looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rider is breathing heavily. Rider is looking for a triangle but The Crocodile pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rider is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The Crocodile won't allow Rider to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Crocodile is looking to stand up but Rider won't let him. The Crocodile stands and steps away. Rider gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. The Crocodile stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A chopping leg kick lands by The Crocodile. Nice straight punches there by The Crocodile. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of The Crocodile. Rider takes one on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Crocodile dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The Crocodile throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The Crocodile scores with a hook. The Crocodile fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jimmy The Crocodile is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The Crocodile misses with the combination.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The Crocodile tries to close the distance and clinch but Rider swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Donk. The Crocodile catches Rider right on the button with a cross. The Crocodile has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Decent striking displayed by The Crocodile there. The Crocodile jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The Crocodile scores with a sloppy right hand. Rider should have avoided that one. The Crocodile tries to clinch but Rider moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good shot there by The Crocodile. Rider takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jimmy The Crocodile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Crocodile lands a lovely overhand right. Rider will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. The Crocodile connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The Crocodile catches Rider with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! The Crocodile gets caught flat footed, as Rider shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rider pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Crocodile is keeping the position for now. Rider postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rider tries to free his leg and advance position but The Crocodile is retaining full guard. Rider wants to stand and escape but instead The Crocodile has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy The Crocodile dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Rider has a takedown stuffed. Rider fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The Crocodile lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Brooklin Rider has been cut. The Crocodile might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. The Crocodile is looking to clinch but Rider is avoiding it.
Rider moves out of range of the leg kick from The Crocodile. Rider fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brooklin Rider. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice shot lands for The Crocodile. Rider walks into a left hand. Rider keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from The Crocodile. The Crocodile scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The Crocodile looks to land a right hand but Rider moved out of range. The Crocodile's corner calls for a 1-2. The Crocodile obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. The Crocodile moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rider is rocked! The Crocodile scores with a jab to the body. Jimmy The Crocodile seems to be getting the better of the standup. Rider staying out of range there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The Crocodile scores with a nice right hand.
The Crocodile moves in looking to clinch but Rider pushes him off. The Crocodile lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rider avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The Crocodile wants to clinch up but Rider keeps it at a distance. The Crocodile throws a right and a left that both miss. The Crocodile is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rider. Rider looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. The Crocodile misses with an uppercut. Rider saw that one coming. Rider changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Crocodile tries to avoid it but Rider manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Crocodile to the ground. The Crocodile escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The Crocodile misses with a few strikes there.
Rider shoots in and bounces The Crocodile off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Rider pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Crocodile is keeping the position for now. Rider has gone for a leg lock! The Crocodile slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rider's guard. Rider shoots for a takedown but The Crocodile saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. The Crocodile swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rider ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The Crocodile lands a nice hook to Rider's body. Rider takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The Crocodile tries to clinch but Rider moves out of range. The Crocodile looks to land a right hand but Rider moved out of range. Rider looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Rider works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rider trying to control but The Crocodile is having none of it. Rider goes for an armbar but he's not got it… The Crocodile turns into him and now he's in Rider's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rider wants to stand but The Crocodile is controlling the position. The Crocodile working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rider looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The Crocodile wants to control from the top but Rider keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Crocodile seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy The Crocodile showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Brooklin Rider's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A big right from The Crocodile misses. Rider drops his hands momentarily and The Crocodile takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Rider has a takedown stuffed. The Crocodile throws a leg kick that misses. The Crocodile with a hook. The Crocodile thows a left - swing and a miss! The Crocodile misses with a looping left. Rider will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. The Crocodile works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Rider uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from The Crocodile. Rider shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brooklin Rider. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Crocodile throws a nice outside leg kick. A jab from The Crocodile finds it's way through Rider's defenses. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The Crocodile misses with a double jab.
The Crocodile throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rider takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Rider shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts The Crocodile as he jumps to the side. The Crocodile keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. The Crocodile tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Rider paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Crocodile with a body punch. A glancing blow. The Crocodile throws out a loose jab but Rider uses good head movement to avoid it. Rider shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts The Crocodile as he jumps to the side. A punch combination from The Crocodile misses. Rider shoots in but no luck this time. Rider looks for a takedown but The Crocodile sprawls well. The Crocodile tries to clinch but Rider is having none of it. The Crocodile misses with a low kick as Rider jumps back. The Crocodile misses with a hook. Rider ducked under it nicely. Rider scores with a takedown into The Crocodile's guard. Rider is looking to advance position but The Crocodile has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! The Crocodile content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rider is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rider is squirming around, avoiding The Crocodile's attempts to control the action. The Crocodile controlling the pace for now. Rider is looking to improve his position but The Crocodile isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Crocodile can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rider is looking to escape. The Crocodile controlling his opponent. Brooklin Rider has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jimmy The Crocodile is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rider tries to reverse the position but The Crocodile maintains control. The Crocodile content just to control the position here. Rider is working to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy The Crocodile comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got The Crocodile winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
