Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luca Rinaldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Carolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carolla has chosen Gotta Get It On from Taboo 2 as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luca Rinaldi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
53 - 49 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adam Carolla! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rinaldi fails with the takedown letting Carolla counter with a right hand. Rinaldi scores with a takedown into Carolla's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rinaldi throws an elbow that misses. Carolla uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rinaldi's guard. Nice move by Carolla!
Rinaldi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rinaldi tries to get out of the position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rinaldi holds on and takes a little breather. Carolla slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carolla has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rinaldi is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rinaldi looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Carolla puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Rinaldi tries to get to full guard but Carolla has control of the leg. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Rinaldi wants to control but Carolla passes into side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rinaldi manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Rinaldi looks to land a strike but Carolla avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Rinaldi scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Rinaldi postures up in Carolla's guard and throws a big left but Carolla blocks it. Rinaldi trying to control but Carolla is working from the bottom. Rinaldi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rinaldi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Carolla is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Carolla avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rinaldi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rinaldi throws a strike but Carolla rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Carolla stands up from Rinaldi's guard - Carolla perhaps looking for a knockout. Rinaldi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Rinaldi has his takedown stuffed and Carolla cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Carolla shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carolla showed some decent athleticism there. Carolla wants to pass the guard but Rinaldi is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rinaldi is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My spies in The Warehouse inform me that Carolla has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Carolla is figuring out what he wants to do next. Carolla is looking to advance position but Rinaldi won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Carolla dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Carolla is looking to slow Rinaldi down with leg kicks. The fighters circle momentarily. Carolla darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Carolla lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rinaldi backs up against the cage.
Carolla lands a jab to Rinaldi's midsection. Rinaldi tries for a takedown but Carolla circles away easily and Carolla counters with a stiff right hand. Carolla is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Carolla stuffs the takedown attempt from Rinaldi. Rinaldi gets slowly back to his feet. Rinaldi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Carolla. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Carolla lands a lovely overhand right. Carolla connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Carolla scores with a one two! Rinaldi had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Nice takedown defense from Carolla. No joy for Rinaldi on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luca Rinaldi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carolla scores with a jab to the head.
No luck for Rinaldi with that takedown attempt. Carolla cracks Rinaldi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rinaldi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carolla lands a body shot.
Carolla has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Carolla bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rinaldi's head backwards. Luca Rinaldi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carolla lands with a cross.
Rinaldi is rocked! Carolla lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Oh Rinaldi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Carolla plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Rinaldi swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Rinaldi face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Adam Carolla! Our winner, Adam Carolla, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
