Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabbri shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kreve napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kreve takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fabbri tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Fabbri remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Fabbri cracks Kreve with a big right hand but Kreve just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fabbri lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kreve down.
Kreve is trying to work for a sweep but Fabbri has mounted him!
Fabbri throwing strikes here but Kreve is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fabbri cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kreve is bucking up trying to escape but Fabbri cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
It looks like Yvon Kreve has been cut.
Fabbri lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kreve hang on?
Kreve is rocked!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kreve really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fabbri. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That has opened up Yvon Kreve's cut even more.
Kreve takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Fabbri unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Kreve wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Fabbri celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
