Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Stephens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Mangreg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rufus Stephens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harry Mangreg! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stephens misses with a looping left. Stephens looks to score with a jab to the body but Mangreg is just out of range. Despite the aggression on Mangreg's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Mangreg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stephens.
Stephens throws a jab when Mangreg was well out of range. Mangreg thinks about the counter body kick. Mangreg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sloppy strikes from Mangreg. Those never looked like landing. Stephens changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Mangreg tries to close the distance and clinch but Stephens swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Stephens feinted with a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mangreg rushes Stephens and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mangreg throws a knee to the head but misses.
