Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omari Akhmedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akhmedov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jason Derulo - . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akhmedov dips to his left and cracks Hunt with an uppercut!
Akhmedov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hunt shoots in for a takedown but Akhmedov shows good takedown defense.
Hunt ducks under a wild hook from Akhmedov.
Akhmedov looks to land a combination but Hunt avoids it well.
Akhmedov misses the shot to the body.
Omari Akhmedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Akhmedov throws a series of punches but Hunt moves out of range.
Hunt attempts a counter takedown but Akhmedov avoids it well and moves away.
A bone on bone clash there as Hunt blocks the leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hunt or perhaps it was just good defense by Akhmedov, which made it look bad.
Akhmedov tries to bum rush Hunt with a series of wild strikes but Hunt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hunt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Akhmedov but Akhmedov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Akhmedov lands a big right hand that sends Hunt crashing to the mat! Akhmedov stays standing though and waves Hunt back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Akhmedov throws a combination that misses
and Hunt counters by moving into the clinch.
Hunt prevents Akhmedov from breaking the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunt tries to score a body lock takedown but Akhmedov shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hunt manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
A head punch on the inside from Akhmedov fails to land.
Akhmedov tries to circle away but Hunt has him pinned against the cage.
Akhmedov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Akhmedov lands with a left to the head.
Akhmedov misses with a hook from the clinch.
Akhmedov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hunt gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Hunt tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Akhmedov is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Hunt buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Hunt!! Hunt is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Akhmedov throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Omari Akhmedov!
