Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Antunes Coimba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Roots Bloody Roots - Sepultura. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Artur Antunes Coimba was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Antunes Coimba shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
Antunes Coimba is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
An attempted straight right counter from Silva misses the target.
Antunes Coimba throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Antunes Coimba misses with a two punch combination.
Antunes Coimba darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Antunes Coimba decides to return to a standing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Antunes Coimba misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Antunes Coimba moves out of range of the strikes.
Antunes Coimba misses with a leg kick
and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Antunes Coimba throws a leg kick but Silva sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Silva fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Antunes Coimba on the side of the head.
It looks like Artur Antunes Coimba has been cut.
Silva lands a big right hand that sends Antunes Coimba crashing to the mat! Silva stays standing though and waves Antunes Coimba back to his feet!
Silva stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Antunes Coimba is rocked!
A low kick from Antunes Coimba misses
and Silva counters with a huge left! Antunes Coimba is in big trouble! He's backing up but Silva isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Antunes Coimba from any more damage. A dominating finish by Silva!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodrigo Silva!
A very excited looking Rodrigo Silva made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
