Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Carlisle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Lambe!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambe is looking to clinch.
Lambe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Carlisle.
Carlisle keeps the fight on the outside.
Carlisle stuffs the takedown attempt from Lambe. Lambe gets slowly back to his feet.
Carlisle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lambe.
Carlisle attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sean Carlisle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lambe tries to clinch there but Carlisle circles away.
Lambe is looking to clinch but Carlisle is avoiding it.
Carlisle fails in his attempt to clinch.
Carlisle throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Lambe looks gassed!
Carlisle darts in and clinches Lambe up against the cage.
Lambe missing with knees to the body.
Carlisle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lambe has him pressed against the cage.
Lambe wants to break free but Carlisle has control.
Carlisle wants to break the clinch but can't.
Carlisle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Carlisle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lambe's guard.
Carlisle gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Carlisle connects with a nice cross there... Lambe is looking wobbly and Carlisle recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Lambe to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Carlisle jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sean Carlisle!
