Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gorm Branting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raimo Rento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rento has chosen U.D.O. - Heart of Gold as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raimo Rento!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rento displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Gorm Branting has been cut.
Branting uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rento.
A big right from Branting misses.
A head kick misses from Rento.
It looked like Branting wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

A right-left combo lands from Rento.
Rento throws a poor cross that misses
and Branting counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rento thinking.
Rento jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Branting throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rento sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A low kick from Rento misses
letting Branting counter with a right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Some bone on bone action there as Branting checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A shot to the body from Rento misses
and Rento takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Branting tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rento was well out of range. Poor timing from Branting.
Rento gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Branting gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gorm Branting!
