Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Madeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Madeira gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Santos gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Madeira doesn't manage to clinch there - Santos circles away.

Santos is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Madeira knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
