The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humphrey's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Humphrey duly obliges.
Humphrey stuffs the takedown attempt from Kahric. Kahric gets slowly back to his feet.
Kahric shoots in for a takedown but Humphrey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kahric misses with a takedown attempt
and Humphrey counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samir Samir Kahric. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Humphrey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kahric is defended easily by Humphrey.

Kahric dives in and scores a takedown into Humphrey's guard.
Kahric stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Humphrey swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kahric drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kahric seems to have locked his on tight now - Humphrey screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kahric, as he picks up the win!
