The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Royalty avoids a punch combination nicely.
Milano misses with a series of wild punches.
Royalty tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Milano manages to circle out of the way.
Royalty misses with a few strikes there.
Milano keeps the fight on the outside.
Royalty throws a head kick but Milano moves out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Royalty or perhaps it was just good defense by Milano, which made it look bad.
Milano throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Milano counters with a series of strikes. Royalty will be more careful next time no doubt.
Milano leaves Royalty with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Milano swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Milano does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Milano misses with a wild combination.

Milano cracks Royalty with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Milano works Royalty's body with a nice hook.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Milano bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Royalty's head.
Royalty is rocked!
Milano pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Milano lands a brutal head kick. Royalty looks out on his feet and Milano throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
