Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Maul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Witczak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Witczak is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by P.O.D. - Boom!. Paul Maul has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paul Maul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Robert Witczak! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maul misses with an attempted mid kick.
Maul fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Paul Maul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Witczak throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maul was covering up waiting for the punch and Witczak finishes the takedown easily into guard. Maul keeping moving, preventing Witczak from controlling successfully. Witczak thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Witczak trying to control the position from guard on top but Maul is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Witczak throwing strikes from guard but Maul blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maul seems keen to control Witczak's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maul keeping moving, preventing Witczak from controlling successfully. Witczak prevents Maul from getting back to his feet. Witczak missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Witczak fails to land the takedown. Nice straight punches there by Maul. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Maul. Witczak closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Maul throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maul defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Witczak.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Witczak or perhaps it was just good defense by Maul, which made it look bad. Paul Maul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Witczak. A nice combination there by Maul.
It looks like Robert Witczak has been cut. A punch lands to the side of Witczak 's head but he takes it in his stride. Maul lands a jab to Witczak's midsection. Maul scores with a shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A head kick misses from Maul. Witczak changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Witczak fails with a takedown attempt. Witczak looks winded! Nice body punch from Maul. Witczak drops his hands momentarily and Maul takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Maul cracks Witczak with a good jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maul displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Witczak takes a shot right to the bread basket. Maul connects with a crisp jab. A left and a right from Maul both land. Nice combination.
Witczak is rocked! Maul fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Witczak on the side of the head. Witczak is still on wobbly legs! Can Maul finish him?
That has opened up Robert Witczak's cut even more. Witczak gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Maul gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Maul! A very excited looking Paul Maul made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
