Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes into the arena with All the Above- Maino ft. T-Pain blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams clobbers Reilly with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Reilly fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Reilly forces Williams back against the ropes and clinches. A short left from Reilly. Reilly is struggling to control the position. Still in the clinch, Reilly scores with a nice short uppercut. Reilly breaks the clinch.
Reilly takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Reilly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Reilly tries to score with a low kick but Williams moves his leg out of the way. Williams fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Williams scores with a jab to the jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Williams there as he acknowledges the shot. Both fighters circling a little - Reilly finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A head kick by Reilly misses and Williams counters with a nice low kick that buckles Reilly's knee momentarily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Williams smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Reilly wants to clinch but Williams slips to the side and Williams counters with a nice uppercut. Reilly connects with a solid leg kick. Williams defending well as Reilly loads up on a big left hand. Reilly clinches up with Williams and pushes him back against the ropes. Reilly dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes. A left hand lands to the body for Reilly.

The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Reilly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul Williams. Well Reilly has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
