And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to land a front kick but Alsop steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Alsop wants to clinch but Jones slips to the side
and Jones counters with a takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Alsop's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Alsop gets back to half guard.
Jones looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Alsop has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at THE GYM (18 Elite coaches on the Island !!!). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Alsop is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alsop is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Jones is tapping! Great win for Alsop!
