Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gio Avila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Granger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Granger's choice of entrance music: This Fire Burns. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gio Avila! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Granger! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Avila throws a lazy head kick and Granger counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Avila looking for submissions off his back. Granger is working for a kimura but Avila is defending it quite comfortably.
Granger seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Avila is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
