The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaFleche throws a jab when Fresco was well out of range.
Jacques Fresco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fresco fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Fresco slips under a jab.
LaFleche is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fresco.
LaFleche throws a leg kick but Fresco moved away.
Fresco tries a head kick but it misses.
LaFleche fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fresco manages to avoid it.
Horrible takedown by Fresco or perhaps it was just good defense by LaFleche which made him look bad.
LaFleche bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
LaFleche cracks Fresco with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Fresco is looking to regain half guard here but LaFleche keeps moving and retains side control.
LaFleche grinds an elbow into Fresco's temple.

LaFleche in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Fresco is working to avoid the ground and pound but LaFleche connects with a decent elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fresco sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
LaFleche takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Fresco is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! LaFleche is tapping! Great win for Fresco!
