Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elias Al Haddad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ashton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashton shoots in and gets a takedown into Al Haddad's guard.
Ashton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Al Haddad works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Al Haddad escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ashton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ashton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Ashton won't allow Al Haddad to get back to his feet.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Al Haddad has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Al Haddad and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
